How to Use the Bill Searc/Tracker

The Bill Tracker lets you follow SC bills that matter to you. 

Searching for a bill

Type a bill number (like H.4757 or S.920) or a keyword into the search box and hit Search. 

If you want to read the full text, click View on SC State House.

Adding a bill to your list

Found one you want to watch? Click Track This Bill. It moves straight to your tracked list and the search clears so you're ready to look up the next one.

Checking for updates

Your tracked bills are listed below the search box. If a bill has moved since your last visit, you'll see an orange Updated badge on that card. Click Mark as Seen once you've reviewed it and the badge clears.

Removing a bill

Click Remove on any card to take it off your list.

One thing to keep in mind

The tracker doesn't tell you what the bill actually says. For that, click View on SC State House to pull up the full text, or use our Bill Cheat Sheet tool if you want a plain-language breakdown of what the language actually does.
